This weekend, clocks move forward in the U.S. for the seasonal time change—more light in the evenings, yay!

But that also means we lose an hour of sleep Saturday night and are waking up an hour earlier in the dark. Not so fun.

You can use the quick energizing routine below to help you wake up and get attuned to the new time.

It’s what I do to help my body adjust more quickly to any time change. It works not only for daylight saving time but also when traveling across time zones.

How It Works

– Do this routine between 7:00 – 9:00 AM (each meridian has a two-hour peak activity window).

– By tracing your meridians in order—starting with the most active one at that time—you help align your body to the current time zone.

– It only takes three minutes and is set to the uplifting song I Am Light by India Arie.

In addition to giving you an energy boost, I hope this practice helps you feel lighter and rise with greater ease and energy.

Wishing you a smooth transition and so much light!

With love,

P.S.
