Any change is stressful, and when your body is stressed, it automatically sends blood and energy to your limbs to power a flight or fight response. Doing this exercise, sends a signal to your body to bring blood back to your forebrain, overriding your stress response. Holding your forehead with your wrist stimulates key meridian points, which can help you integrate new information with greater ease.
