One of my clients came running into my office super excited, saying, “It worked!!!” She was thrilled that the exercise I had taught her had such an incredible effect. She had been dreading going to a family event because her very passive aggressive mother-in-law seemed to take pleasure in making her feel uncomfortable with constant snide and mean comments. After doing the exercise in the video below before she went to the family party, she realized she wasn’t bothered by the first comment her mother-in-law made, and when she used it again, the usual comments stopped altogether. She was able to actually have an enjoyable time with her husband’s family for the first time ever!

When a solid energetic boundary is in place, and you are less affected by others energies, people around you have a tendency to silently “get the message” that your energy and mood are not up for grabs, and their behavior often changes as a result. It’s pretty remarkable.
These are staples I do every day because I find they have a big impact on both how I feel and how people behave around me.
