I got overwhelmed and a little annoyed by all the emails I received last week about goal setting, new year breakthroughs, and the best ways to start your year off right!
It all felt like too much.
This is why I waited a week to send you something.
My thought- I am not quite ready for this. I need more time to figure out what I want, what my heart truly desires. I want to try stuff on, taste it, let it marinate in my mind and in my life for a little more time before committing to anything.
I don’t want to strive to complete an idea, I want to find a feeling, enjoy it and explore it.
Saturday night, my husband and I watched the Netflix series Chef’s Table: France about Alain Passard, a three-star Michelin Chef in France.
A three-star Michelin rating is a coveted honour only a little over 100 chefs in the world receive. This series is incredibly inspiring. As it gets into the head and heart of pure genius. These are the Mozart’s of cooking.
Passard always knew he wanted to be a chef; it was a passion since he was a teenager; he dedicated his life to it. Cooking is the constant pursuit of art for him, like many of the great chef’s featured in this series. He became famous cooking meat, then something in him got turned off and burnt out from it. He took a year off, and, while he was relaxing, he rediscovered vegetables, then he did the unthinkable. He created an entirely vegetarian menu at his esteemed meat driven restaurant. Everyone thought he was finished, but he kept his three stars;)
He kept his stars and his reputation as an exceptional chef because of his desire to amuse himself with his creativity.
You watch him enjoying every moment of his day as he smells then bites into a peach in one of his gardens, as his hands dance over the dough he is moving artfully with each carefully measured gesture into its new form, and as he grins wide with satisfaction tasting the new menu he created that same day at the end of his dinner service.
He fully engages all his senses in the exploration of his dream and his life’s purpose enjoying the process, creation and finally the culmination of each days work.
“My only ambition is to love what I do more each day.
My gardens saved my life.”
Alain Passard
And this is the most effective and easy way to manifest. To feel into what you love, is how to attract more of what you love.
And this is what I invite you to focus on now, versus deciding on a goal.
What fills your heart with joy? What inspires you? What fills you up?
If this is the year you know you want to be in a relationship, what makes you feel loved? What fills your heart with love?
This is how you will get your body mind and spirit comfortable having it and ultimately attract it for yourself this year.
This is how I ultimately —attracted my husband, created a successful business, am now moving into my next phase creating the energy effect and lifestyle that is allowing me to enjoy my life and have a business which pleases me too.
And, for those of you who have been asking. I am doing the Vision Board Class again. And, you can hear more about how I am doing it this year after the online class. It’s going to start Feb 1st!
Being aware of what makes you feel these things will help you attract exactly what you want this year!
So much love and joy,
Lara
