An Effective Hangover Helper and How to Make Your Resolutions Reality
Happy New Year!

- Did you accomplish your resolutions from last year?
If you answered no — Don’t worry, you are not alone.
You don’t have to be part of this statistic.
There is a good reason you didn’t keep your resolutions. Any change is unfamiliar and threatening to your status quo, so taking action steps to make it happen can feel like an uphill climb. Having resolve and will power to do things that are unfamiliar takes a lot of extra effort and energy. So, if you don’t see immediate results, it is easy to lose interest, especially with all the usual demands of your every day life. I mean, you barely have time to do what you have to do now, so how can you add anything extra? Sometimes, it just feels too hard to do it all, I get it.
This can change! You can make the process of achieving your goals way easier and fun now.
The same way it feels good to have a glass of wine with dinner, it can feel good to keep your vision and goals at the front of your mind and to take action steps that really satisfy you as you do them. The truth is, it’s unlikely you will do them any other way.
Our modern day society expects immediate results, but even fast growth doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time for change to happen, but as time goes on, it is less and less likely, you will continue to keep your resolutions. So by the end of the year, you may realize another year has gone by without you achieving what you had hoped.
So let’s get you some inspiration, and get you using The Law of Attraction while you are at it!
The Law of Attraction works, but it doesn’t work with just words. For The Law of Attraction to work for you, you must feel with every once of your being that what you want is possible to attract it and to let it into your life. You must FEEL the feelings associated with HAVING the thing you desire. It is never enough to simply say what you want consciously. You must feel it is possible with every ounce of your being.
The fastest way to match the vibrational level of what you want is for you to feel the feelings associated with already having it!
So let’s get started!
- Write down 3 – 5 things you want to achieve in 2016.
- Think about how you would feel after you accomplish those goals! List three to five adjectives to describe those feelings.
Example: “When I accomplish my goal of running a marathon this year, I will feel free, invigorated, unstoppable and ready for anything!”
- Use the crossed posture (see photo below) to start getting your body and central nervous system comfortable having what you want. This simple exercise helps get your brain working bi-laterally, turns off your stress response, so as you repeat these phrases, you will be getting your body and central nervous system comfortable having what you want.
Create and repeat your mantras in this pose, until your body relaxes or you exhale.
Example: “I can see myself feeling free, invigorated, unstoppable and ready for anything as I train to run the marathon.”
It’s so much easier to take action when you feel the feelings associated with the fruition of your goals.
Just think how amazing you will feel after you take just one small step closer to having what you want?!!
