How do I keep from feeling down on myself when what I want hasn’t shown up yet?
This is an excellent question I received from one of the ladies in my Dream Support Circle Class last week, and the answer is the reason I started teaching the class back in October of 2011.
I knew energy work had the power to release fear and emotional resistance to having anything we want – and I was sick and tired of being single, and terrified of being alone forever. I started the Dream Support Circle class in October of 2011, so I would be accountable for using the exercises daily that I knew worked. Two and a half years later, I am married to the man I met one month after starting the class, I am the owner of my dream studio and I am continuing to use the same exercises and new ones every day to now prepare my life and business for the next phase of my life: God willing, having a baby.
Doing all of this in the past two and a half years hasn’t been easy, but it’s taken a lot less time compared to the previous years, before I was using these tools. When I look back at all I have achieved, I am amazed.
One of the core principles I teach in class is:
“Upset is access to a new possibility if you are open and willing to sit with your negative feelings long enough to allow them to show you what you want, let them go with energy work, then start thinking about – and getting excited about – how it will feel to just think about already having what you desire in your life now.”
After you release the negative feelings – aka fear, sadness, impatience, frustration, etc. – with energy work, (please see the videos below) I invite you to think about just what advances toward your dream you have actually made in the last year.
When the lovely woman who asked this question first came to my class, she was working a job she really didn’t like and was bummed because she wasn’t doing anything to pursue her heart’s calling in her artistic field. Since then, she has left the job which was making her miserable, made some amazing contacts in her artistic field which appear to be moving her dream project forward… and after a recent email exchange, I found out that she has an interview for a potential job in her field. It isn’t exactly what she wants, because it’s not working directly on her dream projects; but she would be doing what she loves and getting paid for it, in an artistic field where she could meet people to help the dream project in the future!
And, that is just in the area of career! She also has shared how her relationships with her husband and her family have become more fulfilling with this work.
On Monday mornings its so easy to lose sight of just how far we have come, forget about our tools, and get bummed about the distance between where we are now and the fulfillment of our dreams. Its natural to feel bummed, as that’s our body’s innate way to keep us safe from moving forward. Change is scary. It upsets our status quo, keeps things familiar.
So, if you are feeling impatient, the thing to focus on right now is clearing any upset as it comes up with all the energy moving tools I have shared, below.

Then, make that list of what you HAVE accomplished. I just got impatient this morning, cleared with oils, and then got excited as I wrote this blog. Clearing the upset as it comes up is laying one brick at a time on your yellow brick road, that’s the map for your success, ya just need to lay the bricks every day, re-commit to arriving at your Oz, and just think about how you will feel when you stand on the castle balcony and look over the yellow brick road which brought you here and feel oh so proud of just how far you have come!

After using this work to help myself and my clients release blocks and manifest more of what they want, I can tell you, dreams don’t happen over night. It takes time and attention, but it is sooooo much easier, faster and fun with these tools!
