Ways to Make the Transition to Winter Easier: Stress Relief for Seasonal Stress and Depression.

When I see the same symptoms and energetic imbalances in many clients in the same week, I believe the cause to be environmental. I wrote about the effects of Mercury in Retrograde on the health of the auric field a few weeks ago, and today, I would like to reiterate the importance of keeping your field strong as we move from fall into winter, and experience the sometimes dramatic shifts in temperature and barometric pressure changes that come with this change of season. Weather fronts create pressure, which challenges the integrity of our auric fields. The pressure of a weather front can create small holes or tears in our fields. When this occurs, we can feel un-grounded, spacey, out of our bodies, and just not ourselves. So, if you are feeling this way, #1 weave the holes in your aura closed; this helped all my clients last week that came in feeling this way. Use the aura weave in the video below:

In addition to this, if you are feeling a little depressed or removed from yourself, there is an easy head hold, you can do to relax and feel yourself again. It uses points associated with the meridians, which are associated with The Water Element, which is the Element associated with Winter in The Chinese System. Winter is the season of retirement into depth, because of the cold outside. In winter, it’s healthy to take time to nurture yourself verses push yourself to allow the yin reserves to be re-established within you. Water is the most yin of all the five elements. The organ systems associated with Water are the Kidneys and Bladder, which rule water metabolism and maintain homeostasis. When you hold the points in the video below, you will be balancing these meridians, while providing your central nervous system with some much needed down time. This exercise tends to relax and rejuvenate me. Try it and let us know what you think:
